A modern logistics facility representing a programmable warehouse
Glossary

Terms used on this site

Short definitions as they appear on public pages. This is not a design recipe, and it is not a list of unpublished specifications.

The aim is that a visitor reads the same word the same way across services, solutions, and offers. If you need a sector-specific reading, we cover that in an intro session.

FlexiStoreX SDW
A concept for a programmable logistics facility developed by Inovex. The asset is designed to adapt as the business, compliance, and operations change — not to serve one fixed purpose for the life of the building.
Programmable warehouse
A facility whose spaces, movement paths, and work zones can be reorganized as products, volumes, or operating methods change, instead of demolition and rebuild in every cycle.
Operating model
How goods actually move through your business: storage, fulfillment, assembly, cooling, distribution, or a mix. The facility is set around that, not the other way around.
Local assembly (SKD / CKD)
Assembling devices or products in the Kingdom from semi-knocked-down or completely knocked-down kits. It appears in the medical-devices solution as one possible use of the same operating environment — not as a manufacturing playbook.
Thermal zones
Areas inside the facility held at different temperatures (for example chilled or frozen storage) according to the product. Engineering detail is set per project and is not published here as general design figures.
Regulatory readiness
Considering food, drug, customs, and local requirements at design, so the facility is not a retrofit project after handover. Final accreditation remains the operator’s and the competent authorities’ responsibility.
Tailored commercial project
A company offer that starts from the sector solution, then tunes layout, spaces, and applications to that company’s operating model — not one ready warehouse for every user.
